Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality work under the guidance of the team lead, ensuring project requirements and deadlines are met.
- Co-ordinate with transaction teams to support on-the-ground project development, engaging with client teams and stakeholders such as offtakers, lenders, and contractors.
- Conduct business valuations and investment analysis through due diligence and valuation exercises.
- Participate in negotiations of commercial and contractual aspects of projects with banks, financial institutions, contractors, and other third parties.
- Develop a strong understanding of the commercial and contractual implications of various contracts, particularly in relation to project financing.
- Gain expertise in high-end financial modelling by analysing key business drivers and conducting scenario and sensitivity analyses.
- Prepare detailed reports, information memoranda (IMs), summaries, and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct research and analysis across sectors, geographies, clients, and competitors to identify potential business development opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A Master’s in Finance or an equivalent qualification.
- CFA Level 3 cleared is an asset.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience, preferably with international banks, developers, investors, funds, or similar financial and corporate advisory institutions.
- Experience in infrastructure and project finance is highly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of financial modelling and financial analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages.
- A basic understanding of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) is beneficial.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential.
