Our client is looking for a Project Manager (OHL) to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project. This role will involve working within the Overhead Lines (OHL) Framework for National Grid and will focus on the successful delivery of a portfolio of high-profile and technically challenging schemes. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Manage full project mobilisation, including establishment of site facilities, procurement of subcontractors, and onboarding of project personnel. Provide visible and effective leadership on health, safety, environmental and compliance matters, always promoting a strong safety culture. Manage project risks, quality assurance processes, and ensure full compliance with legislative, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Maintain accurate project forecasting, cost control, and robust financial performance reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Develop, monitor, and update project programmes, ensuring construction activities align with agreed schedules and milestones. Lead, mentor, and develop the project team, fostering high performance, collaboration, and professional growth. Manage key stakeholders and project interfaces, maintaining clear communication and positive working relationships. Oversee contract administration and supply chain management to ensure best value, performance, and timely delivery. About You Proven experience in a Project Manager role, ideally within the Energy or related infrastructure sector. Experience delivering National Grid projects is advantageous, though not essential. Demonstrated strong leadership capability with a proven ability to manage internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders effectively. Comprehensive construction knowledge, with experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects. Strong track record of successfully managing project budgets, delivery programmes, and project risk registers. Sound understanding of UK legislative and regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to Health & Safety. Proven commitment to safe systems of work and best-practice site management standards. Strong commercial awareness with proven experience in financial control and cost management. Our client is looking for Construction Managers to support the safe and successful delivery of Overhead Line (OHL) projects across a major renewable energy project in Scotland. Key Responsibilities Lead a strong safety-first culture and ensure full compliance with HSEQ, CDM and client requirements. Plan, coordinate and manage all OHL site activities including towers/poles, foundations, stringing and outage works. Ensure works are delivered in accordance with National Grid Supplier Requirements, Technical Specifications and site standards. Manage supervisors, direct labour and subcontract partners to achieve safe, productive delivery. Develop and manage short-term programmes, lookaheads and daily work plans. Ensure works are delivered Right First Time, meeting quality and client standards. Monitor progress, manage risks and resolve site constraints. Interface effectively with National Grid representatives, stakeholders and project teams. Support commercial performance, resource planning and cost control. Coach and develop engineers and supervisors to build team capability. Promote company values, behaviours and professional standards on site. About You Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering Overhead Line construction projects. Proven track record leading OHL site teams and subcontractors. Experience working on National Grid or major UK transmission networks. Strong knowledge of OHL construction methods, sequencing and outage planning. Good knowledge, understanding and practical experience implementing National Grid Supplier Requirements and Technical Specifications. SMSTS certification. Relevant OHL Persons / National Grid competencies. CSCS (Management level) certification. Good programme, planning and organisational skills. Strong safety leadership and communication skills. Our client is looking for an SHW Advisor to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project offshore. This role will focus on ensuring that the project is delivered safely and efficiently, driving the implementation of the SHW management system and practices to meet SHW standards and requirements throughout the construction project. Key Responsibilities Support and assist the delivery team in the offshore wind farm project, focusing on WTG Installation to achieve compliance with project goals, company standards, and statutory responsibilities associated with SHE and related works management. Provide the project manager with necessary reports or statistics. Report directly to the project manager and SHW Manager. Review contractor RAMS and other relevant documentation to ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and client duties. Support the development of local procedures and/or standards for SHE aspects related to work processes or assets. Prepare internal or review contractor’s formal reports, including SEARS, Accident Investigations, High Potential/Near Hits, Internal audit reports, and various SHW reports. Lead incident investigations as required and communicate learnings formally. Actively monitor site health and safety and collaborate with other disciplines and contractors to implement improvements. Monitor contractor’s monthly safety observations and assist in trend analysis. Develop HSE drills with contractors and assist in implementing improvements arising from the drills. Our client is looking for a Project Manager (Multi-Utility) to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project. This role is primarily home-based with regular travel to sites, offices, and client locations in and around the M4 Corridor, covering areas such as Bath, Chippenham, Swindon, Reading, and Oxford. Key Responsibilities Lead with Safety and Quality - Take ownership of project safety standards and quality assurance, ensuring all work meets regulatory and company expectations. Deliver Projects Successfully - Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule, with accurate financial forecasting. Coordinate Multi-Utility Works - Plan and oversee all aspects of multi-utility installations—including jointing, substation/PRI setups, excavation, reinstatement, commissioning, and energisation. Communicate and Collaborate - Maintain clear communication with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery. Stay Organised and Proactive - Keep systems and databases updated, prepare essential documentation, manage materials procurement, and participate in monthly project reviews. About You Experience in power distribution networks and/or multi-utility projects, with a strong background in managing multiple sites and teams. Solid construction site knowledge and hands-on project delivery experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems. Full UK Driving Licence.
