Investment Manager/Project Manager

This role is a specialist in alternative asset management, offering funds, direct investments, and bespoke investment solutions. The firm excels in strategic public and private equity, timber, renewable energy, housing, and infrastructure. Role Objective

The Energy Transition division is at the forefront of the shift towards renewable energy, focusing on transformative technologies such as solar, wind, energy storage, and electric transportation. This role offers a unique chance to engage with the renewable energy sector, particularly in the development of the Carno 3 wind farm. The position involves overseeing the construction of the wind farm and securing third-party project finance, providing ample scope for personal and professional growth in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Energy Transition team in developing and constructing the wind farm.
- Manage the external Technical Advisor in tendering agreements and contracts.
- Oversee the construction phase.
- Collaborate with project owners and advisors to conduct due diligence and reach Financial Close.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure compliance with CDM Regulations.
- Provide management information and progress reports.
- Secure a route to market for the power produced.
- Implement Condition Precedents under the CFD contract.
- Work with lenders to finalise a Facility Agreement and ancillary documents.
- Monthly travel to the site once construction begins.

Skills & Experience

- 3-5 years of experience in wind or solar development and construction.
- Experience in the energy industry, particularly renewable assets, is desirable.
- Background in engineering or project management is advantageous.
- Numerical degree in a technical, financial, or science discipline.
- Ability to interact with teams at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrates passion, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills for broad business interaction.
