Your New Role As a Project Developer, you will play a key role in the development of new solar and wind projects across Italy. Project Director

Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee project development and project engineering of onshore solar project (220 MW). Control and evaluate the EPC works on site during all the construction and commissioning phase until start of O&M, as well as supervision of the requirements and/or conditions agreed with the lender´s technical advisor, identifying incidents, proposing and taking actions. Quality assurance for the project by keeping ensured the adherence of construction activities to the highest quality standards through rigorous inspection, testing, and commissioning procedures. In charge of managing third-party technical consultants, relevant stakeholders and regulators on the technical side. Ensuring that appropriate project controls are in place having regard to budgets, schedule, quality, risk and activity monitoring. Strategic project management by successfully developing and implementing a comprehensive management and control system for the EPC phase, ensuring seamless coordination between project subcontractors and stakeholders. Maintenance of a rigorous HSE framework throughout the site, ensuring compliance with industry standards and fostering a culture of safety consciousness among teams, leading to incident-free operations and a safe working environment. Acting as the primary point of contact for subcontractors and third parties, ensuring smooth coordination and communication throughout the construction process. Manage and coordinate project specific engagements with project’s stakeholders, organising project messaging and in-person consultation events, regular communication with community stakeholders and the wider design team. Commencing progress reports, inventory lists, and quality reports to track project milestones and ensure accountability. DCO Procurement Manager

Our client is looking for a DCO Procurement Manager to join their team. This role will report into a Principal Procurement and Contracts Manager and lead on providing comprehensive procurement support to development and construction activities for large-scale (projects over 100MW+) solar and battery storage projects. As a key figure of the procurement team, embedded within R’s Central Technical Office Procurement Department, this is a key position in delivering end to end procurement support principally for solar and battery projects. Key Responsibilities Initiating and implementing solar and battery project procurement/sourcing strategies and plans including obtaining buy-in from key internal stakeholders. Assessing and evaluating procurement risks (political, environment, technical, economic and legal) and developing appropriate procurement/commercial mitigation strategies. Leading procurement of goods and services for new projects and associated activities to agreed project and commercial objectives in line with governance and approved procedures. Develop category management expertise in consultation with key stakeholders to identify and promote new procurement opportunities for the business (e.g., new entrants, innovations, cost savings etc.) that generates improved commercial insights and value. Able to use and interpret market research/market intelligence. Identification, pre-qualification and qualification of suppliers. Lead on the evaluation of bids and co-ordinating inputs from the wider evaluation team (technical, legal, HSE). Requirements Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of procurement, sourcing and contract management and a proven track record. Experience in the renewables and/or construction industry managing major construction and/or energy projects is desirable Experience in negotiation and commercial administration (incl. cost management) of development and construction contracts. Good working knowledge of contract and construction law, health and safety regulations, EU procurement regulations and category management techniques. Principle Project Engineer (Onshore Renewables)

Our Client is looking for a Principal Project Engineer to join their Grid Services team, the successful candidate will play a key role in the design and development of Grid Parks with a particular focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The principle project engineer is responsible for overseeing the optimal technical design concepts at development stages building on experience gained from projects in construction and operation ensuring the projects can be delivered and commercially sound business cases can be supported. The position will work closely with the development Project Managers and provide input to the procurement and construction teams. Key Responsibilities Design management of the Greener Grid Park development portfolio. Manage resources responsible for producing the physical design and access layouts using AutoCAD including the electrical plant layouts, clearances and safety considerations for construction, maintenance, and operation. Work with the GIS team to produce constraints mapping to influence initial design. Solve specific technical questions and challenges that arise while designing and developing Greener Grid Parks. Manage design documentation and be responsible for the design risk assessments for each project. Document design decisions and changes in the Design Basis Report. Support the Planning Team with input into planning drawings. Review planning documentation from a technical standpoint with particular focus on safety and noise. Check and review design reports and calculations from contractors. Become a member of the fire safety working group for BESS and feed into the fire hazard report and design mitigation. Manage the Principal Designer responsibilities in line with CDM regulations at the development stage including the HSE File and supervise external consultants. Support the production of Employer’s Requirements documents for contracts for synchronous machines, battery energy storage systems (BESS), civil and electrical balance of plant including transformers, cables etc. Produce and review single/key line diagrams for projects. Review and assess technical parts of tender responses. Input to project cost estimates and assess options for optimising costs. Requirements Masters / university degree in engineering or sciences or related. Numerically literate with ability to direct, specify and assess, studies and analyses. Conversant with GB grid connections and operation, processes and requirements for BESS. Contract technical drafting including writing specifications. Have strong knowledge of CDM regulations. As Regional Site Lead you will work in the field traveling to several utility scale solar sites. Key Responsibilities Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Enforce our Client’s HSE policies and ensure all third parties comply with our standards. Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, and administrative activities for multiple large-scale solar and BESS generation sites in the Houston region. Team Supervision: Manage and support O&M contractors and equipment vendors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and best industry practices. Technical Support: Assist with equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and operations to ensure maximum safety and efficiency. Stakeholder Relations: Maintain positive relationships with landowners, suppliers, customers, vendors, service providers, governmental authorities, and contractors. Policy Development: Contribute to the development of internal operating policies, standards, and procedures. Education Undergraduate degree in engineering or a technical diploma/high school diploma with five (5) years of related industry experience. Experience At least three (3) years of supervisory experience in solar O&M. At least ten (10) years of operations and maintenance experience. In-depth knowledge of HV substation equipment and solar power generating technologies. Familiarity with LOTO procedures and Electrical Safe Work practices. NFPA 70E QEW for LV and HV is a plus. Experience with SEL, GE protection relays, and RTAC is a plus. Certifications in Sungrow, SMA, and SiemensGamesa inverters are a plus. Experience in energy storage and wind renewable energy is a plus. Skills Superior communication and presentation skills. Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to lead efficiently.
