Senior Purchaser

Our client is looking for a Senior Purchaser with extensive experience with indirect category management, supplier management, strategic procurement and with applied, strong negotiation skills, to join their Equipment, Supplies and Services Purchasing team which is a diverse and multicultural team with team members in Norway, France, Belgium and the US. The team is responsible for managing and coordinating all purchasing related activities respecting company purchasing procedures throughout the Source to Pay process. Key Responsibilities Support with the indirect scope on all purchasing related tasks, answering to and coordinating the purchasing processes based on your stakeholders’ needsPrepare offer evaluations and assist with business cases, to be presented and discussed with relevant work groups and internal sponsorsDuring category strategy preparation and execution, ensure high quality delivery, diligent preparation and spend analysis, by close follow up with internal stakeholders, suppliers, contracts and deliverables.Ensure good cross-functional communication; establish and maintain Procurement Plans according to company standards; provide necessary inputs to the monthly reportingBe an active and visible contributor in the indirect administration, aiming to satisfy internal and external customersYou may also participate in developing efficiencies and take part in technical improvements relevant to our departmentYou boost your impact by actively promoting Quality and implementing best practicesRequirementsBachelor degree within relevant fields5 years of relevant procurement and purchasing experienceIn this role the likelihood of succeeding will increase if you are proactive and eager to learn and improveBeing able to communicate effectively and having strong collaboration skills is of upmost importanceFluent in English, – oral and written, Norwegian is a plus
