Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Guidance: Provide general advice on a 2-stage collaborative contract strategy and procurement in the civil market.
- Training: Equip personnel with the knowledge and skills required for effective contract management.
- Execution Phase Advisory: Serve as an advisor through the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase and Stage 1.
- Tender Preparation: Potentially contribute to the preparation of Invitations to Tender (ITT) for large civil contracts based on a 2-stage format.
- Tender Evaluation: Possibly assist in the evaluation of tenders.
Required Skills and Experience
- Senior-Level Expertise: Extensive experience in managing construction contracts for civil work in the UK.
- 2-Stage Collaborative Contract Format: Proven experience with both the procurement process and execution of Stage 1 and 2.
- Project Experience: Preferably in the energy sector, although other civil project experience is also acceptable.
- Contract Knowledge: Familiarity with standard UK conditions of contract, such as NEC4 Option C, FIDIC, or PPC2000, is beneficial.
