Asset Manager - Offshore Wind

Key Responsibilities:
- Asset Management: Proactively manage assets from operational, commercial, and technical perspectives to maximise value and returns. Monitor performance and drive improvements.
- Financial Valuation and Debt Management: Update financial models, manage HoldCo debt, and ensure compliance with lenders’ requirements.
- Reporting and Investment Preparation: Compile operational and financial updates, prepare investment decision materials, and present cases to decision-makers.
- Annual Budget Development: Coordinate with team members to develop and track annual budgets, analyse key drivers, and monitor KPIs.
- Technical and Commercial Coordination: Ensure technical teams are involved in relevant workstreams and coordinate market strategies with the commercial function.
- Governance Roles: Represent the client's interests in various governance roles, ensuring decisions align with organisational interests.
- Business Development and M&A Cooperation: Advise on asset management topics to enhance investments and manage handovers of operational assets.
- Strategic Exits: Evaluate exit strategies to maximise returns and prepare necessary documentation for informed decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or Chartered Financial Analyst certification is advantageous.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 7 years in commercial asset management, contract negotiations, stakeholder management, and financial analysis within the offshore wind sector. Experience with leading offshore wind developers or investors is highly desirable.
- Additional Skills: Proficiency in managing O&M activities, contractor management, and experience in management consulting, engineering firms, or investment banking will be beneficial.
