Our client is seeking an experienced Buyer to support the Procurement Manager in purchasing the main products and services needed for the construction of the project pipeline. The successful candidate will carry on all aspects of the procurement process throughout its life cycle and ensure the cost-effective acquisition of materials and services to meet the company’s project requirements.   Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Working collaboratively with the internal/external stakeholder to perform all procurement assigned tasks (scouting of new suppliers, tracking performance, RFQ/RFP management, offers evaluation and comparison, ESG scoring, ERP management, expediting, etc.)Conduct research via the Internet, catalogues, trade publications, and trade shows to identify potential vendors.Negotiate with suppliers either f2f or over the phone to agree prices, discounts, terms, etc.Create, maintain and review purchasing records, price lists, status of RFQ/RFP, contracts and orders, monitor vendors’ performanceFollow up and tracking of project materials optimising quality, costs, and timely delivery criteria.Draw up reports about products availability, lead times and cost roadmaps for key materials to be shared with Development, Engineering, Project Management and Construction teams.Monitor and support components repair, damage replacements, and warranty claims. Qualifications Degree in Engineering fieldsProven track record of 3+ years in renewable projects procurement;Experience in negotiating POs and Contracts with suppliers and ContractorsProven knowledge of Microsoft 365 and ERP softwareStrong communication skills, self-motivate, teamworking attitudeSelf-starter with excellent presentation skills with constant attention to details and accuracySelf-disciplined and result-orientedAvailable to travel meeting suppliers when neededProactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Senior Energy Analyst Introduction to the role We are seeking a Senior Energy Analyst to support our rapidly growing global energy storage business. We develop, build, own and operate grid scale battery storage projects across a number of markets globally. This role is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual to join the team as the business looks to move to the next phase of growth in becoming a global market leader. As a highly motivated Senior Energy Analyst you will be excited to support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy. You will be looking to build upon significant experience and understanding of European power markets gained in an energy market advisor or in an investor, trader and/or operator of renewable assets & batteries. Reporting into the EMEA Director of Energy Markets and Technology, within the Technology, Markets and Trading business unit, you will have responsibility for analysing power market fundamentals and forming our internal revenue view of markets in EMEA. You will build out in-house market & battery dispatch tools and directly support market entry and development decisions along with revenue offtake negotiations and bids.
