Our client is a leading specialist in large-scale energy infrastructure. They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Manager to bridge the gap between site operations and project management. This is a dynamic role designed for someone with a strong technical foundation who is looking to advance their career within a fast-paced construction environment.

The Role:

  • Site & Mobilization: Coordinate day-to-day site activities and support the initial mobilization phases of major projects.

  • Technical Support: Assist with design reviews, build planning, and regular program updates to ensure timelines are met.

  • Multidisciplinary Liaison: Act as a central point of contact between civil, mechanical, and electrical teams to resolve site-based issues efficiently.

  • Planning & Safety: Support Temporary Works planning and constructability reviews while maintaining meticulous Health & Safety files and handover documentation.

  • Client Representation: Attend stakeholder and contractor meetings, representing the company’s interests with professional conduct.

  • Project Controls: Utilize internal systems to track project variations, mitigate risks, and manage resource forecasting against key milestones.


About You?

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years within the construction sector, with mandatory experience in High-Voltage (HV) infrastructure.

  • Qualifications: A degree or diploma in Construction, Project Management, or a related field, supported by a valid CSCS card (or equivalent).

  • Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of Temporary Works and the ability to navigate project databases and Microsoft Office.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to lead discussions between various site disciplines.

  • Mobility: A full UK driving license is essential for site visits.


Preferred (But Not Essential)

  • A background in Civil Engineering.

  • Professional Project Management certification.

  • Familiarity with UK statutory undertaker procedures and major grid operator protocols.
