Our client is looking for a Cable Package Manager to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project. This role involves overseeing the management of a 21KM cable route, including the integration of three new substations and a 400kV connection. The position is hybrid, with responsibilities split between London and the East Midlands.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of cable management projects.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Manage on-site activities in the East Midlands, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and address any issues.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.


About You

  • Proven experience in cable management, preferably in an onshore environment, including HDD.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven experience of CDM regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications in project management or cable management are desirable.
  • Willingness to travel between London and the East Midlands as required.
