Project Manager - HV

Germany

Our client is looking for a Project Manager - HV to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project in Germany. In this role, you will be part of a newly established Power Systems Team, working on your own projects while also providing technical expertise to colleagues across the energy sector. Key Responsibilities Project management for the planning and routing of high and extra-high voltage power lines (overhead lines and cable routes). Preparation of route planning and approval documents, including quality control of the planning documents and coordination with participating partners and authorities. Support in preparing technical proposals. Respond to tenders and support business development for clients in the field of route planning and pipeline design. Maintain close contact with customers and conduct continuous communication regarding work results, both verbally and in writing. About You You have successfully completed a degree in surveying, geography, geoinformatics, geophysics, civil engineering, or a comparable field. You have several years of professional experience in the planning of route projects, preferably for overhead lines of 110 kV, 220 kV, and 380 kV. You possess technical knowledge of overhead line construction and the relevant regulations, laws, and technical standards related to route planning. You have good general computer skills and experience with FM-Profil, SEIL++, FIMS3, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and QGIS. You demonstrate a solution-oriented and confident approach to dealing with customers and partners. You are a team player, flexible, and possess excellent organizational skills. You complete tasks independently and have a structured way of working. You have a passion for sustainability and a strong interest in renewable energies and their diverse technologies. Our client is looking for an Operations Manager to lead and manage our client's team for a major renewable energy project in Lowestoft. The successful candidate will ensure that all operational activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and project objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage our client's team. Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to client requirements. Monitor operational performance, quality, and productivity. Allocate labour, plant, and resources effectively. Manage project budgets and operational costs. Chair operational and project review meetings. Communicate business objectives from our client's team to Operations. Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Support recruitment, training, and development of operational staff. Promote continuous improvement across quality, safety, and environmental performance. Work closely with Commercial, Finance, Procurement, HSEQ, and HR teams. Resolve operational issues and make sound commercial decisions. Ensure compliance with company procedures, legislation, and client requirements. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required. Produce regular operational reports for senior management. About You Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Our client is looking for a Project Manager to manage and coordinate the operational services of the business to meet each of the project deliverables as set in the product/service realisation process. Key Responsibilities Provide interface and maintain excellent customer relations with client operations. Raise quotations and document on the quotation register. Generate work scopes from quotations/PO including material lists (bill of materials BOM) and execution strategies. Lead kick off, continuation and close out meetings. Ensure projects are effectively resourced including personnel, materials, and equipment requirements. Monitor procurement for project execution. Ensure timely and accurate collation of project and field data including timesheet hours, rope hours, and % progress to satisfy business and client requirements. Communicate effectively and routinely with the operations team to ensure efficient project progression. When required, raise Variation Order requests (VOR) and submit to the client. Maintain sufficient knowledge of the project master work pack and associated documents relating to procedural compliance and technical documentation. Be conscious of project budgets. Ensure correct protocol is followed for project close out. About You Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Minimum of 3 years' experience in an operational environment.
