Key Responsibilities: - Drive and enhance the HSE culture and performance within the organisation. - Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation, including the 1974 Safety at Work Act. - Support project teams on HSE matters from connection offer to energisation and operation. - Review and improve internal processes, such as risk assessment preparation and CDM compliance. - Lead HSE investigations, corrective actions, and preventative measures. - Administer the incident reporting system and manage a HSE action database. - Develop and implement a comprehensive HSE training plan for staff. - Report HSE progress and key activities to the Director of Engineering and Customer Connections. - Foster positive relationships with external parties and internal stakeholders. What You Will Bring: - A degree qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience. - In-depth knowledge of current HSE law and practice. - Ideally, experience within the energy industry. - Excellent communication and engagement skills for effective stakeholder management. - High standard of written and oral English. - Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
