Senior Asset Manager - Offshore Transmission

Senior Asset Manager – OFTO We are working on behalf of a leading player in the UK’s offshore energy sector to recruit a Senior Asset Manager for the operational management of offshore transmission assets (OFTO) in Scotland. Site Manager – Substation Build (11kV to 132kV) Location: Hertfordshire & surrounding counties    About the Opportunity Our client, a prominent and trusted Independent Connection Provider (ICP), is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their Distribution & Connections team. As one of the UK’s largest ICPs, the organisation supports the development and maintenance of distribution networks, delivering reliable infrastructure and customer connections across the country. This role is part of the Substation Build Team, delivering projects on behalf of major Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) such as UKPN and SSEN, covering voltages from 11kV to 132kV. Key Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities from initiation to completion. Develop and implement Health & Safety Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments in line with current SHEQ legislation. Lead and manage site teams and subcontractors, ensuring safe and efficient working practices. Maintain strong client relationships through regular progress meetings and site audits. Ensure all site operations are completed within agreed timeframes and quality standards. Support the delivery of electrical planned works, customer connections, and network reinforcement projects. Candidate Profile HNC/Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification.
