Our client is looking for a Deputy Investment Manager who will support their team with renewable energy market and financial analysis in Japan.  Job Responsibilities Origination & Market Analysis: Support the identification and screening of renewable energy investment opportunities while developing expertise in Japan’s renewables market, including trends, policies, and key players. Due Diligence & Financial Analysis: Assist or lead financial modeling, risk assessment, and structuring of acquisitions, developments, and project financing transactions. Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Support or lead commercial, legal, and financial aspects of transactions, including term sheets, shareholder agreements, PPAs, EPC contracts, and financing documents. Investment Approval & Reporting: Prepare internal approval papers, investor materials, and professional presentations for leadership review while managing internal reporting on deal progress. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including financial, legal, and commercial advisors, regulatory agencies, and industry participants. Your Skills Degree or post graduate qualification in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Actuarial or similar level commercial or technical discipline 6-10 years experience working in Investment Banking, Private Equity or Infrastructure Funds Management with some background in the infrastructure, utilities or renewable energy sector Possess quantitative and analytical skills to be able to conduct financial analysis, valuation and forecasting Very strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and knowledge of securities and M&A regulations Proactive, detail-oriented and ambitious personality with a willingness to learn Fluent in English and Japanese. Project Procurement Manager

Our client is looking for a Project Procurement Manager to be a part of the wider Low Carbon Energy Procurement team focused on delivering our client’s ambitions of decarbonizing and diversifying the business. Underpinning this growth in significantinvestment, and procurement at the forefront of managing spend with suppliers, building relationships with the market, delivering competitive outcomes with the business, and creating and delivering the procurement strategy.This role will work with the Japan Offshore Wind Team and business partners to create and assess technical scope/commercial packages for competitive tender events. Also, influence the business to ensure procurement change supporting innovation and cost savings. Key Responsibilities Leverage established relationships with key supply chain players. Develop contracting strategies and processes for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), assess vendor proposals, and secure contracts which are best value possible. Address scope specific cations to find and eliminate unnecessary costs. Negotiate key supply contracts and maintain relationships and partnerships with key suppliers at the most senior level. Source new potential suppliers to encourage market tensions and competitiveness in key project areas. Ensure that all contracts and purchase orders follow previously defi ned business processes. Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly the technical and development teams, ensuring due process is followed. Creating contracts which are fully compliant to support the business, mitigate commercial risks and drive supplier performance. Requirements A degree educated or above, or professional qualification, in a relevant discipline is required. Experience is what matters most. Extensive experience in the energy sector, specifically with offshore wind and working in large international tenders. The successful candidate will have a track record in managing services contracts and delivering substantial savings. Japanese Language Proficiency is a must Understanding of contract management fundamentals, best practices, and industry trends. In-depth knowledge of contract cost drivers, with the ability to illustrate transparency and value.
