George graduated from the University of Greenwich with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering. He joined LSP in February 2020 as a Delivery Consultant within our delivery team. Using his knowledge of Civil Engineering to provide first class delivery, George quickly took on the role of Senior Delivery Consultant and became a vital part of our delivery function. George has been with LSP for over 2 years and was promoted to an Account Managers across both our Permanent and Contract Division. George will focus on delivering and networking within Senior roles across the renewable energy industry.

HV Coordination Manager (Solar)

Key Responsibilities: - Manage interfaces between the company, clients, Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), and Field Service Engineers. - Schedule HV operations within designated regions to support various teams. - Assist in interpreting client requirements within the HV scope of contracts, including dielectric sampling and maintenance levels. - Coordinate annual maintenance scheduling in collaboration with client management teams. - Liaise with performance monitoring and project teams. - Oversee third-party contractors to complete remedial works and upgrades, including scope of works and quotations. - Provide HV technical support for field technicians. - Plan and execute HV switching, isolations, and earthing up to 33kV at Solar PV and BESS plant locations. - Review and follow up on field reports. - Analyse HV partner reports, extract summaries of issues, and suggest outcomes. - Compile and produce remedial works quotations for the commercial team. - Perform in-house remedial work when outsourcing is not preferred. - Assist with HV onboarding visits to confirm functionality in accordance with as-built SLD and ESRs. - Provide technical support to the control room team for HV network issues and faults. - Perform Control Engineer duties under HV safety rules for HV switching activities across the portfolio. - Liaise  and confirm costings when required. - Participate in the weekly Control Engineer on-call rota. Skills and Experience Required: - Experience with a utility or renewables company, working as an authorised person (AP2+) for switching up to 33KV-66KV. - 4-5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance (O&M) of electrical systems for industrial sites. - Valid and clean driver’s licence. - Familiarity with reporting tools and software management tools. - Ability to travel for training and client meetings. - NVQ Level 3 electrical installation or equivalent.
