Using his knowledge of Civil Engineering to provide first class delivery, George quickly took on the role of Senior Delivery Consultant and became a vital part of our delivery function. George has been with LSP for over 2 years and was promoted to an Account Managers across both our Permanent and Contract Division. George will focus on delivering and networking within Senior roles across the renewable energy industry.

Key Responsibilities - Collaborative Engineering: Engage in the interdisciplinary sub-project "Onshore Export Cable," working closely on civils and cable installation from Landfall to NG substations. - Technical Support: Assist the Lead Civil Engineer in managing internal and external studies, preparing technical specifications, and overseeing the supply, installation, jointing, terminating, and testing of onshore export cables. - Contract Management: Contribute to the preparation, negotiation, and award of contracts, ensuring technical solutions meet specified requirements. - Interface Management: Strengthen internal interfaces with the survey team and onshore export cable package, transitioning into an Onshore Engineer Site Representative role once on-site work commences. Skills and Experience - Educational Background: A degree or comparable qualification in Civil or Electrical Engineering, or a technical/skilled worker formation with extensive professional experience. - Professional Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in civils works related to long linear onshore cable routes, including trenchless crossing techniques and HV cable commissioning. Familiarity with CDM 2015 and current H&S legislation is essential. - Contract Negotiation: Experience in contract negotiations and management of large infrastructure projects is highly desirable. - Soft Skills: Strong communication and persuasion skills, a team player attitude, and the ability to quickly adapt to new tasks. Skills and Experience Required: - Experience with a utility or renewables company, working as an authorised person (AP2+) for switching up to 33KV-66KV. - 4-5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance (O&M) of electrical systems for industrial sites. - Valid and clean driver’s licence. - Familiarity with reporting tools and software management tools. - Ability to travel for training and client meetings. - NVQ Level 3 electrical installation or equivalent.
