Why This Role Stands Out:- Career Advancement: Enhance your professional growth in offshore commissioning.- Professional Development: Continuous learning and on-job training opportunities.- Leadership Role: Lead a team of engineers and supervisors, showcasing management skills.- Safety and Standards: Maintain high work and safety standards, ensuring adherence to project safety rules.Role Responsibilities:- Represent at OSS Offshore locations, acting as a key contact.- Manage commissioning planning for two OSS Platforms within the schedule.- Oversee commissioning engineers, supervisors, and client representatives at the OSS.- Confirm milestones like SAT and Mechanical Completion.- Coordinate interfaces with third-party equipment and monitor progress.- Participate in site testing and delegate tasks to supervisors.- Review supplier ITPs and procedures for compliance with standards.- Report progress daily and weekly to the Commissioning Manager and OSS Package Manager.- Contribute to project evaluation and propose mitigation measures for issues.- Ensure commissioning activities are documented and forecast upcoming activities.- Coordinate site commissioning meetings and manage NCRs and punch list activities.- Provide on-job training to O&M resources and act as a contact for the electrical safety manager.- Plan integration testing with WTG/ONS O&M and ensure timely documentation for TSO approvals.Key Deliverables:- Comment sheets leading to final specifications and designs- HAT and SAT reports- Commissioning reports for packages, systems, and subsystems- Weekly reports- SNAG list- NCR list- Input to Programme- Input to offshore commissioning schedulesQualifications:- Engineering degree at M.Sc. level or similar, in electrical engineering/power systems engineering- 5+ years of relevant experienceThis role is ideal for a seasoned Electrical Engineering professional ready to take on a leadership position in a dynamic offshore environment.
