Offshore Works Coordinator - OSS

Main Tasks: • The main task of the Works coordinator is to be the SPOC for logistic planning and crew changes handled from Offshore• Collect demand of Contractors and align with the onshore logistics team and MCC• Support for manifesting between OSS and JUB.• Ensure that all requirements for cargo movement are fulfilled (lifting plans in place, correct marking, supervision)• The Works coordinator shall work closely with the Offshore Construction Manager and support / deputise him where necessary for• Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and other discussions as well as package/project meetings. Aligning and escalating topics (as necessary) to the Offshore Site Management.• Ensure that specific tasks are completed safely, on time, and with due consideration and attention to the project requirements (RAMS) for the assigned scope of work. • Review and understand the Project’s HSE Plan, including the Emergency Response Plan, and ensure Contractor adheres to the HSE requirements;• Review health and safety documents as required before the execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents;• Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR) which will include progress of the works, mechanical breakdown, weather downtime etc. and ensure the DPRs are signed by all required parties (as appropriate);• Support the prioritisation and coordination of works, including coordination of required resources and communicate requirements to the Offshore Site Management Team. • Ensure Contractor compliance with technical/operational requirements and that works are executed in a safe manner and to the required quality;• Monitor Safety Observations Cards (SOCs) during daily meetings and ensure they are recorded within the DPR. Highlight any of particular note or concern toward Offshore Site Management and HSE team.• During all defined key activities and otherwise as often as practicable be present as a witness during installation.• Where the HSE Team is unable to attend any asset, vessel or location carry out planned HS&E inspection(s) on their behalf.• Participate in safety walks with health and safety representatives from the Project Company and Contractor. Identify and report any safety-related observations on a day to day basis whilst performing primary duties.• In the event of incident / accident take detailed notes, timeline, pictures and generally gather information to support investigation(s). NOTE – The Contractor will almost always lead on investigation but it is helpful for Project Company to have its own information available.• Where necessary, act on behalf of the Packages Quality Manager and participate in walkdowns, progress monitoring, identification of non-conformance and witnessing in accordance with project Quality Management Plan and Contractor ITPs.CERTIFICATIONS• GWO Training:• Sea Survival,• Working at heights,• First Aid,• Fire Awareness,• Manual Handling.• Current valid medical certificate and exams for offshore work according to legal requirements.• IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet)• Optional: Experience in drafting DPRs• Experience using inspection/auditing software in a construction environment (desirable). SKILLSET / EXPERIENCEThe Client Representative offshore shall have• a minimum of 5-years experience of similar services in offshore renewable industry;• working knowledge of offshore construction contracts with a good understanding of the contractual implications of breakdowns, delays, weather downtime etc.• profound understanding of offshore operations, in particular offshore lifting operations, offshore substation installation & commissioning works, DP2 and/or jack-up vessel operations• the ability to read and understand technical documents and observe (offshore) operations and ensure these are carried out according to the contractual requirements (e.g. understanding of reasonable endeavours clauses)• knowledge about industry standards and regulations, including but limited to International Maritime Organization (IMO) & IMCA guidelines;• excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with others (shall be fluent in spoken and written English)

Fabrication Supervisor - WTG

Responsible for monitoring the quality and progress of the WTG package.  Role objective Monitor quality and progress of (WTG) Blades at WTG Supplier’s factory Responsibilities Witness the supplier works Witness the supplier's inspection activities Follow-up on manufacturing progress (via Manufacturing Inspection Plan and project related plans of P/D Dates and shipments) Report non-conformities and observations Tasks Participate in final inspections (paint & add on) and final tagging Monitor production activities and production documentation as spot checks Monitor product quality and participate in FAI activities Report non-conformities detected during inspection and manufacturing Report relevant quality issues in NCR system (i.e. Synergi) Follow-up on preservation and maintenance of components at supplier's storage area Follow-up on manufacturing progress according to agreed project manufacturing schedule (MIP) Keep track of trend concerning repeated non-conformities and manufacturing errors and follow-up with the supplier concerning corrective and preventive actions Documentation of daily work and inspections to WTG Fabrication & Quality Manager Prioritise participation in inspection for different Add on components according to failure trends and criticality of failures Check of CTQs according to Digital inspection tool e.g LEP- VG – DT- Paint- LPS-LOPC Review quality related as-built documentation Highlight relevant HSE related issues Deliverables Inspection and manufacturing reports Non-conformity (Synergi) reports Additional comments Consultant should bring own PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) needed to perform the work and flashlight Consultant should preferably live close to the blade manufacturing site Work on weekend is not planned, but might become relevant as an exception Access and work restrictions, e.g., due to HSE requirements, may exceptionally be applied by the supplier at their site, limiting chargeable workdays Qualifications Technical education relevant for the subject matter. Recommended 3 years of work experience within wind /manufacturing of blades Recommended 1 year of experience from similar position Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes and smart phone applications for digital inspections Language skills Good English skills in writing and speaking Soft skills Adaptable, works well in teams, strong communication abilities Capable of establishing trustful relationship Proactive Self-driven Hands on experience Polite and calm by nature Cooperative Safety conscious Quality conscious
