The firm is seeking a Director-level professional to play a leadership role within its Infrastructure Advisory practice, focused on partnerships, M&A, and strategic investment advisory across the energy transition landscape. The team advises clients across the full transaction lifecycle, supporting buy-side and sell-side M&A, partnerships, and portfolio strategy for renewable generation, energy transition assets, and sustainable storage solutions. Assignments are typically short, high-impact engagements, delivering board-level insight to tier-one infrastructure investors, developers, asset managers, utilities, and financial institutions. This is a senior, client-facing role offering the opportunity to shape a growing advisory platform, lead complex transactions, and drive the delivery of major energy transition and decarbonisation initiatives globally. Job Purpose The Director of Mergers, Acquisitions and Disposals (Energy & Renewables) will lead and deliver best-in-class M&A and investment advisory engagements across renewable energy and energy transition assets. The role combines transaction leadership, strategic advisory, and commercial judgement, with responsibility for client relationships, project outcomes, and team development. In addition to delivery excellence, the Director will contribute to practice growth, including proposition development, market positioning, and mentoring of junior team members. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Strategy, this role will serve as a central intelligence and market insight function, directly supporting European strategy formulation, localization initiatives, and major investment and market decisions. Key Responsibilities Market Intelligence & Insight Establish and operate comprehensive internal and external market intelligence channels across Europe, covering policy developments, country-specific conditions, market and project dynamics, competitor strategies, technology trends, supply chain structures, and customer demand. Independently produce and regularly publish high-quality market insight and strategic analysis reports, focusing on wind energy policies, investment environment, auction schemes, land and labour regulations, localization requirements, and supply chain conditions, identifying key opportunities and risks. Provide timely and well-founded viewpoints on sudden market or policy changes, including auction outcomes, regulatory shifts, cost inflation, trade and geopolitical impacts. II. Strong Knowledge of Market, Policy, and Regulatory Frameworks In-depth understanding of wind energy policies, regulatory environments, and auction mechanisms across major European markets. Proven ability to translate policy and regulatory changes into clear market, risk, and strategic insights. Excellent Analytical and Independent Judgment Capability Strong capability to conduct structured analysis and develop independent, well-reasoned viewpoints under complex and uncertain conditions.
