His prior experience includes the appointment of Permanent, Interim and Contract FTSE 100 Financial Management and Investment executives to asset managers, management consultancies, PE backed firms, VC’s, pension funds and advisory firms.

Our client is a Corporate & Investment Bank who are looking for Debt Advisory Analysts and Associates to support origination and execution in project finance and M&A advisory, focusing on the Cleantech sector. You’ll work closely with clients, lenders, and internal teams to deliver innovative financial solutions. Key Responsibilities Conduct market research and track deal pipelines. Build and maintain relationships with clients, lenders, and advisors. Assist in preparing pitch materials and presentations. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and convert new business opportunities. Support transaction structuring and execution, owning specific deliverables. Communicate with clients on transaction matters. Develop and analyze financial models (project finance, optimization, sensitivities). Prepare deal materials (information memoranda, sponsor/lender approvals). Assist in financing and project documentation review and negotiations. Coordinate due diligence with external advisors. Mentor junior analysts and interns. Contribute to cross-selling CIB products with other teams. Assist with internal and external administrative tasks. Travel as needed for client meetings. Skills Strong financial modelling and analytical skills (project finance, valuation). Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish or other European languages are a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and mentor junior team members. Able to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Experience 1-5 years in debt advisory (project finance, acquisition finance), ideally with a focus on renewables. Experience in investment banks, advisory firms, commercial banks, or sponsor/developer side (funds/utilities).

Key Responsibilities Structure and manage debt advisory mandates for clients in energy and renewables. Build and maintain relationships with banks, institutional lenders, and financial institutions. Advise clients on debt structures, refinancing, and capital raising, aligning with their financial goals. Prepare financial models, term sheets, and credit analysis for transactions. Monitor market trends and regulatory changes, providing insights to clients. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project finance, corporate finance) to deliver comprehensive solutions. Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand the bank’s debt advisory footprint. Qualifications Experience in debt advisory, investment banking, or structured finance, with an emphasis on energy and renewables. Proven track record in complex debt transactions, including project finance and capital restructuring. Strong knowledge of debt markets and financing structures within energy and renewables. Proficiency in financial modelling, negotiation, and communication. Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Highly motivated, proactive, and dedicated to exceptional client service.
