As a Senior Construction Manager, you will be at the forefront of the UK’s ambitious renewable energy programme, leading the delivery of Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs). This is your chance to make a tangible impact on the journey towards a net-zero future. Role Responsibilities In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll manage the end-to-end construction delivery of large-scale solar and battery storage systems. Initially focusing on preparing for Final Investment Decision (FID), you’ll then oversee project execution, managing time, cost, quality, and safety. Your responsibilities will include: - Drafting contractor scopes within Employers Requirements. - Collating ITT packs for construction contracts. - Managing relationships with major contractors. - Communicating construction works to other disciplines. - Drafting and owning the construction Project Execution Plan (PEP). Skills and Experience: - A degree in engineering, construction, or equivalent. - Professional Project Management qualifications such as APM PPQ. - Detailed understanding of PV/BESS system infrastructure. - Experience in delivering projects within complex environments, ideally in the Renewable Energy sector. - Strong management skills, including project, financial, and change management. - Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, programming, and risk tools. - Experience with NEC and FIDIC contracts and knowledge of CDM Regulations. This role is based in the UK and will require regular site visits during development and construction phases.
