Job Overview As an HV/LV Cable Jointer, you will play a crucial role in the installation, jointing, termination, testing, maintenance, and repair of underground electrical distribution networks. An established client is seeking several experienced Senior Authorised Persons (SAP's) for tasks involving LV & HV/EHV switching, isolation, earthing, PTW, SFT, identification of the point of work, and issuance of safety documentation for construction and asset replacement projects on SSEN networks. Availability for weekend work and on-call duties on a rotational basis may also be necessary. As a Senior Authorised Person, you will oversee all operational duties, including creating switching schedules and work methods. You'll control and monitor all electrical construction and fault restoration activities on HV/LV networks up to 33kV. In emergencies and power restoration scenarios, you will act as the lead electrical officer, ensuring power distribution is maintained. The openings are in Bournemouth, Poole, Southampton, and Portsmouth.
