In 2023, Sophie moved on from subsea and gained experience across our Engineering and Senior divisions.

Head of Delivery

Business Unit: Offshore Wind Reports to: Business Manager Job Purpose The Head of Delivery is responsible for ensuring the relevant Delivery function operates to the highest standards set by LSP Renewables. This role provides strategic oversight of the Delivery team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and achievement of both personal and team KPIs. The Head of Delivery also leads by example, actively participating in recruitment activities and driving continuous improvement across the function. Key Responsibilities Strategic Oversight & Leadership Ensure the Delivery function is fully aligned with LSP’s operational standards (best-practice) and strategic goals. Lead the development and execution of the Delivery strategy, including workforce planning and team structure. Oversee recruitment processes for the Delivery team, including identifying potential hires and participating in interviews. Monitor team and individual goals and targets, ensuring alignment with management expectations. Performance & KPI Management Responsible for achieving personal and overall team targets set by management. Review and monitor KPIs (e.g., CVs sent, new business, interviews) against relevant targets, implementing improvement plans as needed. Foster a high-performance culture through regular feedback, coaching, and performance reviews. Audit standards within the team to ensure compliance with LSP’s delivery expectations. Conduct quarterly & yearly reviews Team Development & Support Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support to the Delivery team to drive engagement and capability. Lead the onboarding and training of new staff within the Delivery function Identify and address training needs to ensure continuous development across the function Motivate, encourage, and engage others through personal example, hard work, and enthusiasm. Identify team needs for additional resources, support, or training. Operational & Recruitment Duties Actively perform recruitment duties, including sourcing candidates via technology platforms and networking at events (exhibitions, conferences, supplier days, etc.). Implement new sourcing methods/processes to attract & maintain candidate pipelines. Demonstrate understanding of both contract and permanent recruitment processes, including conducting IR35 assessments. Proficiently use Bullhorn, LinkedIn Recruiter, CV Library, and other recruitment tools provided. Competent with compliance matters Collaboration with Sales Serve as the first point of contact for any new client requirements received by the Sales team, ensuring these are allocated to the appropriate delivery vertical. Monitor the progress of servicing these vacancies ensuring timely and high-quality delivery to clients. Collaborate closely with the Sales function to ensure seamless communication and handovers. Be overall accountable for the delivery against vacancies assigned Strategise with Sales in relation to candidate generation, upcoming requirements, volume business, niche requirements etc. Support Sales with client proposals, tender proposals & periodic reviews. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Work with the Marketing team to identify and promote skill shortages, supporting candidate attraction and pipeline development. Attend conferences and exhibitions on behalf of the team/LSP, assisting team members with candidate meetings and market engagement. Communicate clearly, confidently, and positively with all colleagues across Recruitment, Compliance, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. Report on team issues and escalate topics to management as required. Expectations & Skills Proven experience in a senior delivery, operations, or team leadership role, ideally within the renewable energy / recruitment sector. Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams. Demonstrated ability to manage and exceed KPIs in a fast-paced environment. Excellent decision-making, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to develop and alter communication style to meet the needs of different employees, candidates and clients, including senior stakeholders. Confident market knowledge and ability to speak credibly about industry trends. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
