Sophie first joined LSP in February 2020, initially supporting our delivery team by connecting experienced talent with our contract client base. She quickly became a involved in subsea, managing key accounts and building a reputation for excellence.

In 2023, Sophie moved on from subsea and gained experience across our Engineering and Senior divisions.
Now, she's bringing her recruitment expertise in-house to support LSP's continued growth as an Internal recruiter.

With continuing growth at LSP Renewables, we are now looking to grow our finance team in the UK with a newly created role for an experienced Accountant for UK, Asia, USA and Germany. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take on a diverse range of responsibilities, including overseeing current activities as well as developing new initiatives Duties: • Post Prepayments journals • Post accruals across different countries • Fixed assets register management • Maintaining Fixed Assets and run depreciation. • Petty Cash reconciliation • Support the finance team with weekly and monthly payroll • Quarterly VAT submission • Payroll journal posting and reconciliation • Support with month end task • Balance sheet reconciliation and monthly review • Support with Annual Group Audit • Support an assistant accountant • Any other Ad hoc tasks About you: • Part Qual (ACA/ACCA/AAT level 4) • Strong IT and systems knowledge • Good Excel skills • Ability to build relationships and work effectively with both finance and none finance staff • Strong analytical skills and problem solving, able to work independently using initiative to follow through & resolve issues. • Good organisational and planning skills are essential. • Flexible approach with a can do attitude • Ideally have experience in the recruitment industry however this is not essential • Systems used – InTime / Xero / Bullhorn [ Desirable – not essential] • Willing to learn as there is a lot of scope to grow within the team Benefits: Clear and defined career progression · Study support towards ACCA/CIMA · Generous holiday package including Christmas shutdown · Take your birthday off without using holiday allowance · Office team building – two bi-annual team building events · Quarterly incentives Directors lunches · Two trips abroad per year (subject to target) · Extras Work Scheme · Electric Car Scheme · Life cover (3X) · Dress down Fridays · Private medical insurance with Vitality (after 12 months service) · Pension contributions · Laptop To have a confidential conversation, or to apply, please send us a copy of your latest CV.

Interpersonal Skills:- Communicate professionally via email, face-to-face, and over the phone.- Present to potential clients and participate in company pitches.- Represent LSP Renewables and yourself with professionalism.- Address issues promptly and build collaborative relationships with candidates, clients, and peers.- Committed to being helpful and personable whilst assisting less experienced colleagues. Skills and Experience Required:- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within recruitment or a related field.- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.- A passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
