Service Engineer - After Sales

LSP Renewables have partnered with an exciting, new to the market Battery Storage and PV Inverter manufacturer to recruit a After Sales Service Engineer in the UK, to oversee the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting for customers.  Our client offer innovative solutions for distributed PV & Battery Storage across the residential, C&I, and utility scale markets. They entered the UK market last year, and plan to enter new markets including Germany, Poland, Romania, and Italy.  Key Responsibilities Overseas customer training (product installation, commissioning and maintenance, etc.), customer requirement collection; Handle after-sales ticket of the products and close ticket, improve product quality via customer feedback and ensure customer satisfaction; Product spare parts management, daily management of spare parts, such as delivering good parts and collecting defective parts, etc.; Collect customer requirement, transfer to R&D and communicate with them to make the product more robust and friendly, and follow up on the progress of tickets; To identify product and technical problems remotely and then provide relevant advice and solutions; Ensure that technical customer service care is high quality for all local business partners and end customers. Our Client is looking for a Principal Project Engineer to join their Grid Services team, the successful candidate will play a key role in the design and development of Grid Parks with a particular focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The principle project engineer is responsible for overseeing the optimal technical design concepts at development stages building on experience gained from projects in construction and operation ensuring the projects can be delivered and commercially sound business cases can be supported. The position will work closely with the development Project Managers and provide input to the procurement and construction teams. Key Responsibilities Design management of the Greener Grid Park development portfolio. Manage resources responsible for producing the physical design and access layouts using AutoCAD including the electrical plant layouts, clearances and safety considerations for construction, maintenance, and operation. Work with the GIS team to produce constraints mapping to influence initial design. Solve specific technical questions and challenges that arise while designing and developing Greener Grid Parks. Manage design documentation and be responsible for the design risk assessments for each project. Document design decisions and changes in the Design Basis Report. Support the Planning Team with input into planning drawings. Review planning documentation from a technical standpoint with particular focus on safety and noise.
