June 2025 – Polish renewables leader R.Power has secured €30 million in green bond financing from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), marking a major milestone for Poland’s energy storage sector.

The deal supports some of Poland’s first large-scale battery storage projects and represents R.Power’s first euro-denominated issuance under its PLN 1 billion green bond programme. With PLN 610.7 million already placed, this latest funding brings international confidence and visibility to Poland’s clean energy infrastructure.

Programme and Risk Management As part of the collective Client site team, monitor progress by the Contractors based on submitted programmes, daily progress submissions and Contractual key dates. This will include: Analyse, manage and mitigate design and construction risks with the Contractors. Escalating to the Project Manager as necessary and in a timely manner. Close monitoring of the schedules and interface points between Contractors. Review lookaheads and hold daily and weekly progress meetings as necessary to ensure works are delivered to programme. Regional pricing, commercial negotiation and contract execution Complete local inquiry, quotation comparison and business negotiation under corporate cost control and pricing policies to ensure regional procurement cost meets HQ requirements. Conduct local contract negotiation, document sorting and approval submission following corporate standard contract templates, approval workflows and commercial clauses, and supervise subsequent contract fulfilment. Track market quotation, supply-demand relationship and capacity volatility of core ESS parts including battery cells, PCS, BMS, liquid cooling system, cabinet, electrical accessories, cables and fire-fighting equipment, and submit periodic market analysis to HQ; no independent authorization to set corporate pricing or procurement strategy. Deliver headquarters’ commercial initiatives including framework agreements, annual fixed-price contracts, bulk centralized procurement and domestic component localization replacement. 4. Closed-loop management of order placement, delivery and product quality Arrange local order issuance, production scheduling and delivery tracking based on HQ’s procurement demand and project schedule to guarantee on-time delivery for overseas projects. Cooperate with local suppliers to handle incoming quality defects and after-sales issues, and push corrective actions per corporate quality standards. Follow HQ’s inventory management rules to control inbound delivery rhythm, sort slow-moving stock and implement return & replacement, so as to improve regional delivery and inventory efficiency. 5. Local compliance management & cross-department coordination in Europe Strictly abide by EU trade regulations, tax rules, CE certification, EMC/LVD directives, environmental protection and ESG traceability requirements to ensure all local procurement activities comply with relevant laws. Continuously follow updates of European new energy policies, market access regulations, tariff adjustments and supply chain policies, and consolidate relevant information for HQ synchronization. This role will support the continued growth of its international battery energy storage system (BESS) and wider energy transition investment strategy through financial modelling, investment underwriting, market analysis, and transaction execution. The Role We are seeking an Investment Analyst / Associate to support the evaluation, execution, and management of energy transition investments, with a particular focus on battery storage and renewable infrastructure opportunities. This is a highly analytical and execution-focused investment role, working closely with the fund management team and transaction deal teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in building investment models, assessing new opportunities, supporting due diligence processes, and contributing to investment recommendations across a growing international portfolio. Lead Procurement / Category Manager – BoP - Germany The Procurement Lead will be the primary commercial creator for Balance of Plant (BoP) and infrastructure works across multiple European jurisdictions. You will own the regional supply chain strategy, leading high-value tenders and negotiating complex construction frameworks. This role is suited to a technical leader who can operate at the intersection of engineering specifications and commercial risk, ensuring regional portfolios are delivered safely, competitively, and to the highest technical standards. Key Responsibilities Regional Sourcing & BoP Strategy Regional Ownership: Lead all procurement processes for BoP across multiple jurisdictions, including RFQs, bid evaluations, and price / contract negotiations. Commercial Engineering: Partner with engineering and estimating teams to optimise BoP cost models and provide accurate project estimations to the Business Development team. Market Intelligence: Monitor regional construction markets (specifically UK, Italy, and Spain) to provide real-time intelligence on contractor capacity, material costs, and supply-chain risks. Contractual & Technical Leadership Negotiation: Act as lead negotiator for multi-million-pound BoP contracts, ensuring robust commercial structures under FIDIC or NEC forms. Commercial Expertise: Strong understanding of procurement contracts, legal frameworks, and risk management. Language Skills: Fluency in English and at least one additional regional language, German preferred.
