Our client is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join the team as a Cable Jointer in South Lancashire. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique chance to be at the forefront of the renewable energy sector, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of the underground electricity distribution network. Essential Skills and Experience: - Comprehensive understanding of safety systems and risk assessments. - Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach. - Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including anti-social hours. - Full UK driving licence. - Organised, self-motivated, and team-oriented. - Ability to complete work-related paperwork accurately. - Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent. Your work will ensure minimal disruption to electricity supply, and you will keep the Customer Contact Centre updated on progress to maintain transparent communication with customers. Regular inspection and maintenance of overhead plant will also be a key part of your duties, ensuring the network's reliability. Adherence to Electricity North West codes of practice and a proactive approach to all tasks will be essential in this role.
