Our client is looking for a CDM Coordinator, who will lead the implementation of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 across offshore renewable energy and Battery Energy Storage projects. This role is integral to ensuring that all project stakeholders adhere to “safe by design” principles, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee CDM compliance from construction to operations across Offshore Wind and Battery Energy Storage projects. - Interpret and enforce CDM legal clauses and technical requirements in key project documentation. - Champion “Safe by Design” principles across all project stages. - Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and compliance reviews. - Lead incident investigations and drive continuous improvement of the QHSE Management System. - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of CDM roles and expectations. - Develop and rollout CDM training programs tailored to project teams and supply chain partners. Qualifications and Experience: - Degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, or electrical); Chartered Engineer or Chartered Member of the Association for Project Safety (MAPS) is preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing CDM compliance in offshore wind, marine, or large-scale energy infrastructure. - Proficiency in developing and reviewing PCI, CPP, and Health & Safety Files. - Certified or trained by recognised bodies (IOSH, NEBOSH, APS, RoSPA, or CPD-accredited). - Experience in integrating CDM/QHSE requirements into EPC and O&M contract structures. - Demonstrated application of Safe by Design principles in multidisciplinary environments. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach. Your expertise will ensure regulatory compliance, manage commercial agreements, and optimize revenue from Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Contracts for Difference (CfDs).
