Our client is looking for a Commercial & Contracts Manager, this role involves  working closely with the development team, the delivery team and the investment management team. Our client is seeking an Asset Manager for their global battery storage business. In this pivotal role, you will prepare for and manage the operational phase of battery energy storage system (BESS) projects under construction and in operations within the UK and establish best practise and process for asset management globally. Strong commitment to safety, health, environment, and quality practices. Minimum of an electrical engineering degree. Chartered membership of an appropriate engineering body would be an advantage. Ability to review create/electrical designs, schematics and specifications. Demonstratable experience in performing preliminary electrical apparatus ratings and cable size estimation. Our client is seeking a Director of Energy Markets and Origination for their global battery storage business. In this pivotal role, you will be accountable to CTO for leading the TMT view on energy markets, origination and negotiation of revenue opportunities, battery technology selection and trading in region and support relevant team members in these activities. Successful candidate would be able to own the 5-to-10-year view of how the company layers no derivatives to their assets / portfolio to achieve a desired level of contracting shape. In this role you will need to set the strategy and risk framework then execute on that. This role offers flexibility and ideally in Melbourne or Sydney and will be reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.
