Junior Electrical Engineer - Solar PV

We are looking for a PV Engineer to support our fast-growing Italian activities. In the development phase, GDS requires to strengthen its engineering support to ensure that we use the most optimized solutions for our investments. The PV Engineer plays an active part in the project working closely with the development team, then with the construction team, coordinating the technical and design aspects of PV schemes to ensure best available technologies are adopted. Key Responsibilities Working in the Engineering and Construction team, the PV Engineer will report to the technical management, across the Development and Construction phases. The PV Engineer will: Support the Project Manager developing technical solutions required for company projects during the local permitting process. Understand the technical constraints of the proposed schemes and develop the best solutions. Coordinate the engineering review, undertaking and commissioning due diligence activities to facilitate valuations. We expect the PV Engineer to harmonize the projects technical design and to work on the technical matters. She/he will require a curious mind and be efficient with time management. Autonomous in attitude, she/he need to be able to operate across the company in the most appropriate way.    Transversal Missions In addition to project related activities and business development activities, the Employee shall be involved in some transversal missions contributing to the global success of the GDS group: Continuous improvement of development tools and processes. WTG Senior Transport & Installation Engineer

Our client is looking for a Senior Transport & Installation Engineer to join their team, the T&I Engineer will be the technical point of contact for all scopes related to transport, marshalling and installation of the projects’ WTGs. The successful candidate will have strong technical competence, good communication skills and relevant experience interfacing with a multidiscipline engineering team, Turbine OEMs, Vessel Suppliers, T&I Contractors, and external consultants. Key Responsibilities Expected to work with sufficient autonomy and lead the technical aspects of the Transportation and Installation scope all along the project life cycle. Analyse, recommend and optimise offshore installation and logistic concepts and methodologies from early design up to the offshore campaign Support Key project tender activities including development of technical requirements, evaluation of technical proposals and contract negotiations. Technical Asset Manager

Our client develops and invests in a wide range of utility scale energy assets focussed on solar PV, onshore wind and storage solutions. The role is focussed within the broader Asset Management team, which is responsible for operating and managing their clean energy portfolio of projects within Europe. They are looking for a highly motivated asset manager to manage solar and storage assets and their associated SPVs, by ensuring best practice for safety, quality and environmental performance, enhancing the overall returns and value of each project and ensuring compliance with all applicable contractual agreements and regulations.  The Asset Manager will be the main contact for all asset management activities carried out on the project and be fully responsible for the day-to-day management of each asset; this will involve working with a wide range of diverse cultures and business environments to provide a solid asset management function across the Renewables portfolio. GBS Foundations Engineer

Our client is looking for a GBS Foundations Engineer to join their Engineering Team, supporting the delivery of contractor selection and detailed design for GBS foundations.
