 Our client is seeking a Geotechnical Manager who will examine the geotechnical risks and will establish the parameters for the design of offshore wind structures. They will also perform complex conceptual examinations of the foundation installation and identify & quantify risks. Our client is looking for an experienced Grid Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of the Project Grid Connection. You will be a primary interface between the company, the grid operator and planning authorities. The main purpose of the Grid Manager will be to ensure the grid connections on the large-scale solar/Wind projects in Romania are delivered and to ensure that the connection process is appropriately managed from early design to successful completion. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the TSO/DNO. To carry out technical due diligence and risk assessment on grid connection schemes/grid offers received from TSO/DNO. Manage Consultants and Developers to support Grid delivery. To provide the cost estimates and grid connection delivery timescales. Strong knowledge of the requirement for grid code compliance, TSO/DNO connection procedure and administrative authorizations required for connection of renewable plants in the Italian market. A degree qualification in electrical power engineering or a mix of electrical/renewable energy engineering is mandatory. Knowledge and experience of power systems, power systems studies and grid connection of renewable projects in Italy. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related Engineering fields.
