Commissioning Engineer - MV/HV

Scope of Work Work alongside the Electrical Systems Package site representatives and Client Commissioning Engineers to assist in delivering the Commissioning activities as Clients Engineer, driving the work scope forwards on site to meet the project programme. Client witness and sign off for Stage 1 and Stage 2 Commissioning for Onshore Converter Substation. Provide technical support for Project Senior Authorised Persons and M&E Engineers. Provide assistance for the Client Onshore Commissioning Engineer (Lead) and SCADA Commissioning Engineer Responsibilities Accurate weekly reporting and record keeping on Progress and Issues to the Client Onshore Commissioning Engineer (Lead) Liaise with Engineering and Quality Departments to ensure Outstanding Engineering/Quality Issues are resolved. Interface with Export Cable and Offshore Substation Commissioning activities. Responsible for ensuring accurate ‘As Built’ Drawings and Commissioning Records are kept by the Subcontractor. Requirements Proven Electrical Commissioning Engineer in a MV/HV substation (Client or Contractor role) Knowledge of testing Alarms/Controls/Indications from a range of Substation Equipment to SCADA Systems Knowledge of commissioning of LV/MV/HV Switchgear and associated components. Knowledge of Micom/GE protection relays including IEC61850/Goose communications is desirable. Experience of BMS Systems is desirable Understanding of HV Safety Rules. Self-starting with planning/coordination and problem solving abilities. Fluent written and verbal English with good communication skills Certifications Relevant technical education, for example Electrical Engineering Degree/HNC desirable or equivalent. Valid National Grid Persons (Substations) certification is desirable but not essential. Valid CSCS/Safety Passport/SHEA Power required to get on site at the Onshore Converter Substation

WTG Senior Transport & Installation Engineer

Our client is looking for a Senior Transport & Installation Engineer to join their team, the T&I Engineer will be the technical point of contact for all scopes related to transport, marshalling and installation of the projects’ WTGs. The successful candidate will have strong technical competence, good communication skills and relevant experience interfacing with a multidiscipline engineering team, Turbine OEMs, Vessel Suppliers, T&I Contractors, and external consultants. Key Responsibilities Expected to work with sufficient autonomy and lead the technical aspects of the Transportation and Installation scope all along the project life cycle. Analyse, recommend and optimise offshore installation and logistic concepts and methodologies from early design up to the offshore campaign Support Key project tender activities including development of technical requirements, evaluation of technical proposals and contract negotiations. Technical Asset Manager

Our client develops and invests in a wide range of utility scale energy assets focussed on solar PV, onshore wind and storage solutions. The role is focussed within the broader Asset Management team, which is responsible for operating and managing their clean energy portfolio of projects within Europe. They are looking for a highly motivated asset manager to manage solar and storage assets and their associated SPVs, by ensuring best practice for safety, quality and environmental performance, enhancing the overall returns and value of each project and ensuring compliance with all applicable contractual agreements and regulations.  The Asset Manager will be the main contact for all asset management activities carried out on the project and be fully responsible for the day-to-day management of each asset; this will involve working with a wide range of diverse cultures and business environments to provide a solid asset management function across the Renewables portfolio.
