Luke brings a range of interpersonal and customer service skills where he will apply these when supporting our Engineering Team. Luke will cover a range of permanent and contract positions across all areas of Engineering within the renewable energy industry. Areas Luke will focus on include but are not limited to; Geoscience (technical/physical), Grid/OSS Engineering, Interface Engineering & Management, Mechanical Engineering, Cable Engineers, Civil Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Foundation Engineers and more.

Our client are looking for an Installation Manager (Array Cables), to join their team on a contract basis in London, UK.  Key Responsibilities Analyse, recommend and optimise offshore installation, logistics concepts and installation procedures prior to and during installation. Prepare technical invitation-to-tender documents In cooperation with Package and Contract manager; tender, negotiate and recommend installation contracts incl. MWS. Manage offshore installation contractor and MWS incl. cross discipline cooperation within the project team. Ensure contractor's delivery and own review of method statements and risk assessments Set up and implement HAZID/HAZOP for installation design / offshore installation operations. Provide progress reports to PM for all managed contracts incl. all significant technical risks, and develop contingency plans. Project Engineer - Solar PV

LSP Renewables have partnered with a leading IPP headquartered in Spain to recruit a Solar PV Project Engineer in Italy, who will play a key role in the tendering phase of EPC projects by producing required documentation and reviewing materials submitted by the EPC contractor during the construction phase to ensure alignment with our clients’ project specifications and standards. Our client manage an operational portfolio of 7.5 GW in generation technologies covering Europe, the US, Latin America, and Asia. They are the largest renewable energy developer in Spain, and are currently development more than 150 projects in Spain for themselves and 3rd parties.  Key Responsibilities: Design and Engineering: Develop and optimize the design of PV systems, including system sizing, module layout, and electrical configurations. Secondary Permitting: Being able to address the requirements of the prescription of the Authorization Decree of an approved project and managing the relations with the local authorities. Technical Analysis: Perform energy yield simulations and technical feasibility studies. Project Management: Oversee installation projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, quality standards, and deadlines. Compliance: Ensure all PV systems comply with local regulations, standards, and safety requirements. Documentation: Prepare or review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, procurement specialists, and contractors. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Proven experience in the design and implementation of PV systems. Proficiency in PV simulation tools such as PVsyst, QGIS or similar. Strong knowledge of electrical Italian systems and standards. Proficiency with AutoCAD. Proficiency in both Italian and English is essential, with knowledge of Spanish considered an advantage.
