Document Controller

Our client is looking for a Document Controller to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project. Key Responsibilities Serve as the dedicated Document Controller for assigned contract packages, working closely with Package Managers, project stakeholders, and contractor Document Controllers to provide guidance and support on Aconex, SharePoint, and document control processes, ensuring compliance with project requirements and document management standards. Review and validate contractor Master Document Registers (MDRs) ensuring deliverables are correctly coded and metadata is accurately recorded within Aconex. Manage contractor Document Number Requests by creating Aconex placeholders (document numbers) manually and via the Aconex bulk uploader. Transmit assigned placeholders (document numbers) to the contractor. Maintain and update Document Distribution Matrices (DDMs). Create and manage Aconex workflow templates in line with DDM requirements. Process contractor document submission transmittals. Perform quality assurance checks to ensure contractor document submissions meet project requirements, numbering conventions, and metadata standards prior to Aconex workflow initiation. Manage Aconex workflows, including the reassignment, skipping, and termination of workflow steps to support timely document processing and project delivery. Close-out Aconex Document Control Termination workflow tasks and prepare/issue Return of Comment transmittals to contractors, ensuring timely communication of review outcomes. Monitor and expedite overdue Aconex workflow tasks. Monitor and expedite document submissions and resubmissions from contractors. Issue Technical Queries (TQs) and Technical Query responses through Aconex. File project and contractor Technical Queries and responses; maintain Technical Query Registers. Transmit internal and third-party documentation to contractors through Aconex, ensuring all required document release authorisations are obtained prior to issue. Maintain and update associated Aconex packages and document control registers to ensure accurate tracking and record management. Prepare and issue weekly, monthly, and ad hoc documentation status reports. About You Experience in a Document Controller role, preferably in large multidiscipline engineering projects. Previous experience with Document Control systems in a project support office, preferably Oracle Aconex. Proven experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Strong general computing skills, especially MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Strong attention to detail. Systematic, proactive, and service-minded. Team player and motivated. Capable of maintaining positive working relationships while adhering to demanding deadlines. Our client is looking for an OT Engineer to support the operational technology infrastructure across its offshore wind portfolio in Germany. Key Responsibilities Engage and support offshore technicians and relevant operations departments. Liaise between OT, IT, marine coordination, operational teams, OEMs, and grid operators for seamless collaboration. Communicate system status, risks, and improvement opportunities to management. Monitor service status, troubleshoot and coordinate maintenance, updates, upgrades, and replacements. Independently diagnose and troubleshoot faults, coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and third parties. Prepare root cause analyses for SCADA and OT infrastructure failures and propose technical solutions. Standardize, monitor, and improve predictive and preventative maintenance programs. Create, update, and maintain documentation on systems and processes. Maintain accurate asset records and documentation to support audits and lifecycle management. Assist in creating work scopes, bid packages, and oversee plant outages. Assist in developing project schedules in alignment with operations and maintenance departments. Transmission Civil/Structural Engineer

Our client is looking for a Transmission Civil/Structural Engineer to coordinate the development of a major renewable energy project. Key Responsibilities Deliver engineering support to achieve objectives for safety, quality, cost and schedule. Jointly lead and coordinate civil and structural engineering activities across the project. Develop and maintain a consistent engineering approach across offshore and onshore works. Manage the development of the offshore design to achieve Independent Certification Body (ICB) certification. Ensure engineering solutions are safe, practical, commercially efficient, constructible and certifiable. Provide technical oversight of designs for civil/structural works through reviewing and guiding engineering design development. Support design optimisation throughout the project lifecycle and ensure quality assurance of engineering deliverables. Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and technical decision-making. Support efficient handover of design documentation for operations and maintenance. Coordinate engineering interfaces across project packages and support procurement activities. Liaise with certification bodies and Marine Warranty Surveyors to resolve technical queries. Monitor project budgets in conjunction with the Cost Controller. Identify engineering risks and opportunities early and support their effective management. Ensure engineering outputs meet project quality standards and review structural documentation issued to third parties. Proven experience managing complex multidisciplinary engineering design through FEED and detailed design. Experience managing Owner's Engineers and engineering consultants. Strong understanding of design assurance, certification and independent verification processes. Excellent project management skills covering programme, contracts, cost, risk and quality. Electrical Engineer - Senior

Our client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of a major renewable energy project. This role is based in Glasgow, Perth, or Aberdeen, with a requirement to be present in the Glasgow office once per week. The contract is for a duration of 6 months. Key Responsibilities Deliver front-end electrical engineering design works. Develop electrical contract documentation including management and preparation of substation and electrical balance of plant contracts and Works Information. Write, review and update technical specifications for substation and electrical balance of plant equipment. Review external contractor's design documentation to ensure client requirements are met. Attend Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance Tests of major substation components to ensure adequate testing has been achieved. About You Experience in offshore wind electrical design. Proven experience in substation layout design, primary equipment specifications, and testing up to 400kV. Good technical knowledge and experience of renewable electricity generation or transmission. A strong working knowledge of engineering legislation and industry good practice relevant to substation designs, primary plant, and protection. LSP's client is a globally Offshore Wind Developer who are urgently looking to engage with a WTG Package Manager. The role will be responsible for the delivery of the safe and efficient transport & installation of WTGs offshore and is currently in the late development phase. Therefore, we are looking for candidates with the following experience and competencies: Experience to include: Proven experience within a developer environment or project development phase. Strong project management experience, preferably in an onshore or office-based project environment. Strong focus on the development, negotiation, and management of contracts. Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills. Experience negotiating and managing complex contractual arrangements Technical and subject matter expertise relating to: Vessels and marine operations TSA (Transportation and Installation Agreements) BIMCO contract forms Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) installation activities Offshore wind project development and execution Certifications: Hold a degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering, Marine Logistics, Renewable Energy or another closely related engineering or science area. Have significant demonstratable experience in the project management of the successful and safe execution of offshore wind farm projects.
