Our client is seeking a SAP - 400kV / Control Engineer to join their team.  Key ResponsibilitiesFulfil the following roles in accordance with the Operational Safety Rules on systems up to 400kV: Senior Authorised Person (L3) Safety Coordinator System ControllerParticipate in all provided training and authorisation processes to achieve and maintain required authorisations for the Offshore Wind Farm.Take responsibility in ensuring Safety From The System is achieved and all required documentation is prepared and issued prior to all work commencing.Assess each job on a task by task basis. Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Asset Operations Technical Service & Delivery (TS&D) team. As the Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for providing Electrical Operation and Maintenance Engineering. In this role, you will be expected to provide in-field engineering services & support the Area Managers, Technicians and contactors with both High Voltage and Low voltage equipment. You will ensure approved maintenance scopes are delivered collaboratively with the Asset Operations, Central Technical Authority and Contract partners ensuring comprehensive reporting throughout.  You will also be working on a diverse portfolio of onshore and offshore wind, solar, BESS and private wire projects within the UK and Ireland.  Key ResponsibilitiesProviding ‘in-field’ Electrical engineering expertise / support at a site level (wind/Bess/solar) to support Asset Operation teams with Electrical routine maintenance tasks as well as emergent, fault and emergency conditions.Providing day to day maintenance engineering support for Asset Operations both locally and remotely as required.Have a questioning attitude, Challenging Current thinking and processes to seek alternative methods of working.Drive continuous improvement reviewing / setting standards and develop cases for consideration, ultimately contributing towards asset improvements and performance gains.Acting as a ‘triage’ service for ad-hoc technical support to Asset Operation field teams. Liaising with wider teams to be a part of operational decision making processes and supporting with asset management decision making to support end to end life cycle of the assets.Supporting the Asset Operations department in finding robust and innovative solutions to meet technical requirements and other relevant standards.Managing technical queries raised by team members, contractors and suppliers.Acting as a point of contact and providing sign off for proposed modifications to Electrical assets under the ‘Management of change’ process.Review, update, amend and approve information against existing single line diagrams, electrical drawings & Test Data.Risk management – identify and log newly identified risks and add them to the appropriate risk register.Scope output requirements / expectations for external technical specialists to conform with when reporting on issues i.e  ‘Root Cause Analysis’ Ensure asset integrity is at the forefront of your thinking. Key Responsibilities Support Lead Site Manager/ Site Coordinators on all logistic relevant topics. 4 Engineers, 1 per Back-to-Back shifts to cover 24/7 working to ensure all scopes are covered MH site set up, design, storage plans and supports Onsite transportation movements Load-in inspections and vessel movements Load-out inspections and vessel movements Daily operational contact with MH contractor for the mobilisation, operation and demobilisation of MH Prompting good HSE (and Quality) culture and work practices (with support from Client HSE). Input into SIMOPs management of vessel, project work and onshore coordination with Contractor, as per decision authority. Escalating situations outside of decision authority. Highlights site risks, issues, concerns and opportunities against project schedule, budget, contract and operational constraints to Lead Site Manager / Site Coordinators. Delegated responsibility from Lead Site Manager during Lead Site Manager’s Off-shifts. 2 Coordinators on Back-to-Back shifts to cover 24/7 working (1 Coordinator per shift). Daily operational contact with MH contractor for the mobilisation, operation and demobilisation of MH. Observation and supporting site coordination for mob- demob – ops orders. Delegated responsibility from Lead Site Manager to leading Site/Inspection Engineers. Prompting good HSE (and Quality) culture and work practices (with support from Client HSE), overseeing HSE on site when Client HSE is not on site. Coordination and controlling of Marshalling Harbour activities, including robust documentation management/administration, including for customs processes. Obtaining and managing relevant permits for onsite works, interim works, vessel movements SIMOPs management of vessel, project work and onshore coordination with Contractor, as per decision authority.
