Electrical System Manager - Senior

Taipei - Taiwan

As the Electrical System Senior Manager, you will be involved in delivering ongoing projects in OSW and the wider New Energy business. You will play a key role in contributing to manage, develop and support broader technical solutions for the Electrical Engineering of assigned project. Role Description Support line managers and project line managers to manage technical activities of electrical engineering of assigned offshore wind (OSW) with regard to OSS, ONS, CAB, SCADA and Grid interface. Manage risks, program, progress, budget, quality and relevant consultants/contractors’ contracts of electrical system designs (conceptual design, pre-FEED, FEED and detailed design) for assigned OSW project.  Support relevant package managers of assigned OSW project to develop and review relevant technical requirement regarding to electrical system for ITT procurement process. Responsible for electrical work scope in assigned OSW projects with a focus on performance requirements tailored to meet relevant expectations of projects. Prepare and review technical specification of MV/HV cables and other equipment. Identify and manage key technical interfaces of electrical system across various work packages for assigned OSW project. Review proposals, documentation, drawings, reports and calculations from consultants/contractors and evaluate against project requirements and local/international standards. Lead an electrical system team of assigned OSW project. Qualifications To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Extensive relevant experience on technically complex and high-value HV projects in OSW. Very good leadership, communication and negotiation skills with a proven ability to work on complex projects and lead multi-disciplinary and culturally diverse teams. Documented experience with transmission projects, its influence on operation, and performance of a transmission system including the: study, design, configuration, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of OSW electrical systems. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering including study, design, configuration, manufacturing, installation and commissioning. Current and demonstrable experience with HV cable works, HV substations or correlated construction activities as well as project management principles. Good organizational skills and a structured working approach with an eye for detail as well as the ability to keep a large overview. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong commitment to safety. Ability to interact with people at all levels internally and externally. The flexibility to adapt to company and project requirements. The position shall be based in Taiwan.

In the role as Head of PMO you will be responsible for all aspects/areas of a corporate/ project including: schedule, risk, document management, integration management, communication management, stakeholder management, etc. and working with corporate/ project team members. Scope Description: Survey, study, implement training of project management system and tools to improve visibility, governance and traceability of company and project information.  Ensures that all phases of project and process development are documented and that information required in other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred, as appropriate.   Provide cross-package management services to company or assigned projects.  Support projects and company assignments in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to resource utilization, and timeliness for completion.  Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding confidentiality, quality and safety.  Manage, integrate, and improve corporate/ project management system.  Undertake study of new technologies/ tools, as appropriate.  Performance of project management skills: Risk, Schedule, Process knowledge, Analysis, Reporting, and Communication, etc.  Problem Solving: analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.  Interaction: Frequently interacts with senior level of management for identifying critical project management needs/concepts for the company and projects.  Leadership: provide guidance via coaching and mentoring to team members Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Have previous PMO experience and have lead teams in the full functionality of duties as a PMO manager   At least five years of experience in Project Management within offshore multi discipline projects or within an Engineering environment. Experience in offshore wind project development is preferred.  Knowledge of Project Management and Execution, and preferably PMI/PMP certified.  Holds a Bachelor Degree of Engineering or equivalent. Advanced degree is preferred.  Ability to use Microsoft Office, Project management software (DMS, Risk, Scheduling, etc.)  Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively.  Ability to support and co-work with team members.  Ability to work in Taiwan.  Similar experience in project management from Oil and Gas industry can be considered.

Marine Specialist - Construction Service

The Construction Service Marine Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing marine management procedures to support the offshore wind projects. The role requires a strong understanding of UK maritime regulations, offshore logistics, and marine coordination, ensuring that all marine operations align with UK and international standards. The specialist will play a critical role in defining vessel strategies, ensuring compliance with The Crown Estate requirements, Marine Management Organisation (MMO) regulations, and industry best practices. Responsibilities        Develop and implement marine management procedures, including vessel coordination, offshore logistics, and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with UK maritime regulations, including those set by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), Marine Management Organisation (MMO), The Crown Estate, UK Department for Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ), and Health & Safety Executive (HSE). Develop a Marine Coordination Plan for offshore construction and operations, covering vessel tracking, exclusion zones, offshore communications, and emergency response. Vessel Selection & Chartering: Define vessel specifications for offshore wind farm operations, conduct vessel suitability assessments, and support vessel procurement. Marine Traffic & Navigation Risk Management: Conduct navigational risk assessments (NRAs) and ensure compliance with UK marine traffic regulations. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with port authorities, the Royal Yachting Association (RYA), fisheries representatives, offshore contractors, and environmental agencies. Innovative Marine Solutions: Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce carbon footprint, and integrate emerging marine technologies. Experience & Job Requirements    Minimum 7-10 years of experience in offshore wind (preferred), marine coordination, or offshore oil & gas marine operations. Preferably offshore wind experience Proactive safety mindset, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks before they escalate Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills Strong understanding of marine logistics, vessel coordination, and offshore wind farm construction methods Experience working in an international environment, engaging with multinational teams and global stakeholders Adaptability and problem-solving skills, able to navigate complex marine operational challenges in dynamic offshore conditions Knowledge of Marine Coordination software Strong knowledge of UK maritime regulations Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
