Our client is looking for Project Manager/Head of Construction to lead the construction of PV and WIND projects in Romania. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the assigned PV/WIND projects throughout their life cycle and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget while minimizing risks and maximizing margins.
 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead project development and project management activities from RTB status to shovel-ready status working proactively to grant all the authorizations missing to start the construction.
• Manage and coordinate duties related to planning, assist management in issuing requests for pricing, performing competitive reviews, and purchasing or contracting of BOS materials and services;
• Manage the development of PV/WIND plants from site establishment to completion;
• Coordinate and manage the engineering revisions;
• Coordinate and manage the project managers team (frequent traveling to site is requested);
• Budget control of the works and management of cash flows;
• Direct interaction with utilities to ensure the network connection of PV generation facilities;
• Supervise compliance and quality of the subcontracted Company's works;
• Supervise the compliance of the construction with the approved design;
• Ensure respect of timing in the construction, development, and closure of projects;
• Management of all local stakeholders (landlord, EPC Company, etc)
• Develop and maintain the project timeline, and identify the critical path and key milestones for success.
• Communicate with the authorities regarding interconnection, permitting, and other regulatory compliance issues.
• Issuing periodic reports to the Company boards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related Engineering fields.
• Proven track record of 5+ years of project management experience in renewable;
• Preferred electrical Licensing related to Solar fields and HV substations;
• In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code, solar permitting, and other PV/WIND system regulatory codes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, self-motivated with demonstrated problem-solving capability.
• Self-starter with excellent presentation skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Self-disciplined and result-oriented.
• Flexibility to travel to project sites in various locations in Italy whenever necessary;
