Our client is looking for a Senior Project Development Manager, Solar PV, who will be responsible for taking utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects through the entire permitting process until ready-to-build (RTB) status.
 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Evaluating land opportunities and negotiate land leases
• Work together with the M&A team in Denmark to set up and evaluate project business cases.
• Prepare and submit STMG applications and manage contacts with TSO/DSO
• Prepare and submit VIA/AU, manage contacts with the authorities, follow up on progress.
• Coordinate closely with the organization in Denmark; hold recurring project meetings in distributed project teams, frequently consult and collaborate with the development, M&A, legal, and EPC teams in Denmark on project matters.
• Prepare decision-making material for management and the board of directors, including investment decision presentations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in project development
• Wind, solar, and/or BESS experience
• Experience from taking solar PV projects through the entire permitting process
• Experience from land lease negotiations, EIAs, grid connection, and feasibility studies
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
• Languages: Native speaker of Italian. Fluent (full professional) in English.
