Our client is looking for a SCADA Commissioning Engineer to join their team and be responsible for overseeing the commissioning of the SCADA for Onshore substation.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Represent our client at the ONS SCADA FAT in Bilbao from Q4 2024 – Q1 2025
• Represent our client at the ONS site in Choczewo for SCADA commissioning from Q1 2025 – Q2 2026
• Manage interfaces between ONS SCADA and other packages
• Plan and coordinate SAT of external SCADA interfaces

 
Major Tasks
November 2024 – March 2025

• Represent our client at Factory Acceptance Testing (Bilbao, Spain)
• Report on progress of FAT Testing and contribute to successful completion of FATs on time
• Support on Technical Queries and design issues with the responsible SCADA engineer

March 2025 – February 2026

• Represent our client on the onshore substation site (Choczewo, Poland)
• Support Contractor with SAT of ONS SCADA
• Perform Employer interface testing to external systems
• Perform testing of SCADA interface with the TSO
• Participate in testing of the overall control concept
• Participate in integration testing onsite
• Participate in WTG SCADA testing onshore
• Review ITPs from suppliers
• Support with the design of overall SCADA system and integration concept

• Comment sheets leading to the final specifications and design
• FAT, HAT, SAT reports • Commissioning reports for packages and/or systems and subsystems
• Weekly reports
• SNAG list
• NCR list
• Input to the Programme
• Input to overall commissioning schedules

 
Qualifications

• Experienced in HV commissioning, Operations under electrical safety rules, Safety documentation, switching schedules, Electrical regulations
