Offshore Installation Manager - WTG
Location: UK, Denmark or Poland
Role
WTG Offshore Installation Manager working as part of our clients team on various WTG installation project duties. This may include:
• Supervising work offshore for short spells
• Assisting in the back office with various tasks related to the work scope such as developing contracts, scope supervision
• Reviewing or developing offshore installation schedules.
Requirements
• Great numeracy skills and a logical mind. High level of fluency in speaking and writing English, although it does not have to be your first language
• Good knowledge of the wind turbine installation vessel market and the most common installation concepts
• Understand how to achieve safe and high-quality construction or engineering project outcomes
• Great communication skills and are able to liaise and cooperate with both colleagues and counterparts from our clients’ suppliers
• A degree or equivalent in naval architecture, mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or equivalent
• Some experience of managing offshore installation scopes, similar construction scopes and/or including drafting contract specifications for heavy lifting, deck layout, and vessel mobilization
• Are bright, curious, and original and thrive within a team and as a leader
