Offshore Wind

Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Cable Engineer to join their team, this role is work from home with occasional travel to Glasgow.     Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Technical input in support of Offshore Export cable selection and refinement</li><li>Co-ordination of cable route survey scopes and assessment of cable burial risk/opportunities across proposed routes</li><li>Development of Inter-Array cable layouts and optimisation</li><li>Provide definition of cable installation methodologies in support of project consenting inputs</li><li>Assessment of cable rating constraints along both onshore and offshore Export Cable corridors</li><li>Development of execution strategy for both Export and Inter-Array cables and development of project programme</li><li>Support in engagement with supply chain, ensuring project strategy aligns with market expectations</li></ul>  Requirements <ul><li>Experience of FEED stage into design, ideally in HVDC.</li><li>Candidate will be electrically design biased rather than installation manger experience. </li></ul>
