Our client are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to support their projects across the UK. The HSE Advisor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and implementing effective environmental and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and update HSE procedures, plans, and documentation tailored to renewable energy operations.
• Support the investigation and reporting of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are completed.
• Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to site staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Maintain HSE records and reports to support performance monitoring and regulatory compliance.
• Advise project teams on environmental best practices, including waste management, emissions control, and ecological protection.
• Liaise with contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to ensure alignment on HSE matters.
• Promote continuous improvement in HSE performance across all operational sites.

• Offshore wind experience preferably  for offshore substation installation/commissioning Proven ability to engage teams and foster a strong HSE culture.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy operations and associated risks (e.g., working at height, electrical safety, remote locations).
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Working knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
