Our client is looking for a ‘Regional Operations Manager’ with extensive offshore project management experience to join their team out in Taiwan. The Regional Operations Manager will facilitate cross-functional projects from project tender to completion in accordance with all project processes.


Principal Accountabilities

  • Facilitate cross-functional projects from project tender to completion in accordance with the project processes
  • Organise, lead and motivate cross-functions team and increase transparency across the organisation
  • Manage time, cost, and quality according to agreements and prepare and maintain project schedules with focus on timely completion of projects
  • Liaise with customers, management and stakeholders about progress, deviations, and deliverables
  • Deliver customer satisfaction, strong performance and profitability, including driving operational excellence and controlling budget and costs (full P&L responsibility)
  • Ensure continuous development and improvement of processes, tools and systems, including the project processes
  • Create clear and attainable project objectives based on business cases
  • Develop new initiatives to ensure that the team deliver services and solutions meeting customers’ demands
  • Maximise customer satisfaction, identify and pursue growth opportunities, set goals and track / report progress
  • Ensure complete project management of all types of projects (A, B, and C projects) such as blade campaigns, major component exchanges, pre-assembly, installation, and commissioning work
  • Plan and prepare risk mitigation and facilitate structured problem-solving 
  • Strengthen, motivate, and lead your team of Project Managers, Site/Service Managers and Coordinators, and support in both daily operations as well as the strategic direction of our client.
  • Plan and execute team meetings and workshops as well as lessons learned sessions
  • Ensure due diligence on emerging risks and participate in business risk control

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Business Economics, Business Administration, Project Management or similar, and/or relevant commercial and technical background
  • Extensive experience with Project Management or a similar role, preferably from the wind industry
  • Extensive experience with leading a team and acting as the direct line manager
  • Experience with planning/project management software e.g., APM, Prince2 or MS Project, and Microsoft Office Excel
  • Fluent in English and ideally one other European language
