As a project QHSE Officer you will be part of the team that is on site on one of their offshore projects worldwide, responsible for the maintenance and control of QHSE-S practices on site, as well as inspecting all activities and equipment to reassure proper operation and implementation of procedures. This includes tasks like the installation and calibration of measurement devices, actual measurement of dredging volumes, and processing and mapping the results using specialized software like AutoCAD. The Survey department plays a crucial role in reporting the progress of works to the project management team. Working in this department requires a strong background in fields like engineering, hydrography, geography, or topography, with an emphasis on modern measurement techniques. Employees often work on international projects with rotating schedules, depending on whether they are involved in dredging or offshore activities Key Responsibilities Responsible for conducting precise surveys, collecting accurate data, and providing critical information to support various projects. Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Offshore Substation Construction Site Technician to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction, installation, and commissioning of offshore substations, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with safety, quality, and project specifications. This role involves working in offshore environments, often under challenging conditions, to support the timely and efficient execution of offshore substation scope of an offshore wind project. Key Responsibilities Oversee and support the construction and installation activities for offshore substation, ensuring adherence to engineering designs, specifications, and safety standards. Perform hands-on installation, assembly, and connection of substation equipment, including transformers, switchgear, cabling, and other high-voltage components. Conduct and document inspections, testing, and quality control checks to ensure project compliance. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and on-site personnel to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during construction and installation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of project timelines and deliverables, providing progress reports and updates as needed. Implement safety and emergency procedures as per company and regulatory requirements, ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel on-site. Assist in the commissioning and handover process of the substation, participating in system checks and functional tests. Document and report all activities, incidents, and maintenance tasks performed offshore. Requirements Technical certification or diploma in electrical engineering, marine engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore construction and installation, with specific expertise in high-voltage substations preferred. Strong understanding of offshore safety protocols, including valid certifications such as BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training), GWO or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to work with high-voltage equipment and related safety practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Our client is looking for an Offshore Operation Support professional to join their team during the offshore construction phase of an offshore wind farm project. This role involves supporting various operational activities to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of offshore construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in offshore operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure environments. Key Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day construction site and related marine activities during the construction phase of the offshore wind farm, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives. Act as the main point of contact between onshore support teams and offshore construction crews, facilitating communication and issue resolution. Monitor of vessel performance and prepare all relevant documentation including vessel manifests and work authorization Monitor the progress of construction activities Provide real-time updates and detailed reports on construction progress, operational challenges, and project milestones to project management and stakeholders. Troubleshoot and provide solutions to operational issues that arise during offshore construction. Participate in safety drills, emergency response preparations, and other HSE activities to ensure readiness and compliance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or technical certification in marine engineering, offshore operations, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in offshore operations, preferably in offshore wind farm projects. Strong understanding of offshore construction processes and marine activities. Proven experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, including vessel operators, construction crews, and project engineers. Perform system checks and calibrations during the commissioning process. Conduct functional testing and verification of mechanical and electrical systems. Mechanical  Assemble and install mechanical components of wind turbines. Perform mechanical inspections and adjustments as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during the installation and commissioning process. Conduct maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems of wind turbines.
