This role requires excellent collaboration skills and flexibility to work across a range of subjects. You will provide leadership, direction and support to ensure Project Certification and Professional Engineer of the Project. In this capacity, you shall take on a broad package of tasks, including but not limited to the following:
 
Key Responsibilities

• Support the process of Profession Engineer Stamping by ensuring consistency of input information for the project
• Communicating the status of Professional Engineer stamping workstreams with the wider project team
• Liaising with Professional Engineer contractors to execute the contracted work scopes to quality, schedule, and budget
• Undertake desktop research (i.e. literature reviews) into various engineering subjects and report key findings to Certification Manager
• Supporting the Project Certification Manager interfacing with authorities and certification bodies, ensuring the project is in alignment with International Standards and local standards/ regulations
• Assist Project Certification discussions with the relevant external working groups (e.g., collaboration with certification bodies on Taiwanese project certification standards, alignment with local authorities, and collaborations with other developers to seek synergies between projects)
• Support the process of Project Certification by ensuring consistency of input information for the project
• Communicating the status of Project Certification workstream with the wider project team

 
Qualification and Skills

• Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years work experience in the power industry
• Direct work experience with Professional Engineer of offshore wind power projects is a plus
• Competent when dealing with health and safety standards, quality standards, best practice, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements
• Organized and process-driven, able to work independently or collaboratively as suits the situation best
• IT literate and able to learn and make full use of internal systems
• Ability to establish, maintain and develop effective relationships at different seniority levels
• Self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude
• A team player with ability and motivation to work in a diverse environment with people of different cultural backgrounds
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Fluent Chinese language proficiency
