Our client is looking for a Community Relations Deputy Manager to be responsible for managing external and internal stakeholder relations in local communities and work with the communities in support of our clients Offshore Wind Project to fulfil their environmental and social responsibilities. They offer a unique and challenging position where the Community Relations Deputy Manager has every opportunity to develop the skills and influence the green transition of the energy sector in a pioneering role of the project. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Play the role of the main point of contact to community members for daily stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Identify, develop and manage the relationships with local communities to fulfil environmental and social responsibilities and commitments.
  • Receive and handle voices from local communities as part of the key force for the on-schedule construction of the Project and monitor the implementation of the Livelihood Restoration Plan
  • Closely liaise with team members to timely feedback and manage voices related to E&S.
  • Consistently execute, monitor, and log the outcomes of grievances to ensure the Grievance Mechanism is well implemented and documented.
  • Record the outcomes of stakeholder engagement activities in the Stakeholder Engagement Database and other relevant registers.
  • Execute and monitor training programs to fulfil E&S responsibilities.
  • Support document translation when necessary.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications & Key Skills
  • Undergraduate / Graduate Degree
  • Excellent communication and understanding of stakeholder management and are able to build and manage stakeholder interactions.
  • A native speaker of Taiwanese and Mandarin is necessary to communicate effortlessly with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Acquainted with communities located at coastline of Changhua areas
  • English proficiency is required to be able to present Project information smoothly and efficiently to the stakeholders and Project team members.
  • Skillset and understanding of renewable industries, especially for offshore wind industry.
  • Management skills and experience of working cooperatively across the organisation.
  • Experience of developing and implementing stakeholder plans and working with a wider of external and internal stakeholders.
  • Good at identifying the stakeholders and executing assigned tasks in an organized approach.
  • Willing to take business trips
  • Good at adopting proactive, systematic and analytical approaches to achieve Project goals
