Our client is looking for an Operations Controller to join their team.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Monitor financial and operational KPI’s on a monthly basis
• Advise site managers in order to drive financial performance and value for the UK assets Liaise with internal counterparties within the group (Accounting, Tax, Central Controlling etc) and external stakeholders in our assets
• Act as financial business partner for Offshore management in order to identify best in class solutions and safeguard successful development of the business

 
Deliverables

• Operational planning and reporting, and the mid-term planning with specific focus on assets in the UK Offshore operations business.

 
Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS etc)
• Successfully completed university studies in Business Administration, Finance or Controlling or similar experience
• Several years of professional experience in controlling issues, if possible experience in as well as very good knowledge of the value drivers in Offshore Wind
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to establish and nurture effective working relationships both within the Controlling team and the wider business
• High level of self-organisation, personal drive, energy and flexibility
• Familiarity with SAP/MS Office/CARS
• Ability to work successfully across different countries and cultures
