Our client are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Engineering Office of their team, where they’ll be leading the technical support to teams developing and delivering utility-scale wind projects across the Baltic countries and Poland.

Locations Include: Lithuania, Poland, or Estonia

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing technical requirements and specifications for the WTG tendering procedures
• Reviewing the technical documentation produced from WTG supplier and identifying any technical issues or risks
• Supporting wind farm layout design, energy yield and design optimisation
• Contributing to due diligence of potential wind farm site acquisitions
• Supporting wind turbine construction, commissioning and performance testing
• Following renewable energy (wind) industry trends/innovations and applying the knowledge in the daily activity.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Engineering (mechanical / electrical / mechatronics)

• 5+ years of experience in consultancy, contracting or design within the wind sector
• Demonstrated track record of providing engineering and technical advice on wind energy projects from development phase through to operations either on the owner side or as a consultant to the owner
• Deep knowledge of the technical aspects of turbine supply agreements
• Familiarity with the various EU requirements, legislation and development routes for wind projects
• Strong technical report writing skills
• Good knowledge of English language
