LSP Renewables have partnered with a leading IPP headquartered in Spain to recruit a Solar PV Project Engineer in Italy, who will play a key role in the tendering phase of EPC projects by producing required documentation and reviewing materials submitted by the EPC contractor during the construction phase to ensure alignment with our clients’ project specifications and standards.
Our client manage an operational portfolio of 7.5 GW in generation technologies covering Europe, the US, Latin America, and Asia. They are the largest renewable energy developer in Spain, and are currently development more than 150 projects in Spain for themselves and 3rd parties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Engineering: Develop and optimize the design of PV systems, including system sizing, module layout, and electrical configurations.
- Secondary Permitting: Being able to address the requirements of the prescription of the Authorization Decree of an approved project and managing the relations with the local authorities.
- Technical Analysis: Perform energy yield simulations and technical feasibility studies.
- Project Management: Oversee installation projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Compliance: Ensure all PV systems comply with local regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
- Documentation: Prepare or review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, procurement specialists, and contractors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of PV systems.
- Proficiency in PV simulation tools such as PVsyst, QGIS or similar.
- Strong knowledge of electrical Italian systems and standards.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in both Italian and English is essential, with knowledge of Spanish considered an advantage.
